There are seven hot springs on the island of Lesvos, of which the one in Eftalou, a region just outside of Molyvos is easiest to reach from Milelja. During travelling season buses are leaving for Eftalou every hour. There is an old hamam (Turkish bath) with a hot spring of 45°C in Eftalou, which works like a fountain of youth and has been known for its healing powers since antiquity, especially against diseases of the joints. Taking a bath is possible in a natural pool as well as single baths.
